Wizz Air Abu Dhabi has officially commenced direct flights between Abu Dhabi and Beirut, making it the fourth airline to operate in the Abu Dhabi – Beirut market along with Etihad, MEA and Air Arabia Abu Dhabi. Wizz Air also marks a significant expansion in its Middle Eastern network. The airline now operates this route three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays with one-way fares starting at approximately USD 61.99.
As the sole ultra-low-cost carrier offering direct flights between Abu Dhabi and Beirut, Wizz Air Abu Dhabi provides an affordable and convenient travel option for the Lebanese community living in Abu Dhabi, as well as UAE residents. This new connection facilitates family reunions, tourism, and business travel, making it easier for more people to explore and connect without compromising on cost or convenience.

The inaugural flight was celebrated at Beirut-Rafic Hariri International Airport, with a press conference attended by government officials, airport executives, and senior representatives from Wizz Air Abu Dhabi. Tamara Vallois, Head of Commercial at Wizz Air, who highlighted the significance of this launch, stating that the new route opens up more opportunities to travel affordably between two vibrant capitals.
This expansion aligns with Wizz Air Abu Dhabi’s commitment to making travel more accessible, affordable, and inclusive, reinforcing its role in enhancing connectivity across the Middle East.
